In it, around 300 pieces are protected and exhibited, between archaeological vestiges, paintings and sacral sculptures of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, bells, censer and old documents, such as the historical catechism printed in 1681 and the commentary book of the ecclesiastical of 1701 . It highlights a bell that fell to the sea in 1875, which was trapped in the networks of some fishermen one hundred years later.

The collection of this museum is divided into six permanent rooms and a temporary. The visitor finds a historical story that covers the prehistoric populations of the region, the discovery and the conquest of the territory of the Peninsula of Baja California by the Spaniards and the elaboration of the typical clothing of the Surcalifornian rancher. It has a collection of religious art (sculptures and paintings), of sculptures and weapons of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, as well as tillage tools and utensils. The museum has formed a popular craft collection that offers a sample of regional trades.
